  1. Same gerrymander ROT in Canada due to Brit conquest of French Canada in 7 years War in 1750s-1760s

    — one actor for Brits – younger George Washington.

Set stage for 1775-1784 Am Rev War — with GW defeating Brits with major French revenge help.
    *******
1/2 or less [plurality] votes x 1/2 [bare majority] rigged packed/cracked gerrymander districts = 1/4 or less CONTROL

    = ANTI-Democracy MINORITY RULE O-L-I-G-A-R-C-H-Y

    — with always lurking TYRANT MONARCHS – STALINS/HITLERS.

UNEQUAL votes for winners in districts.

    UNEQUAL total votes in districts.

PR and AppV — esp in small island regimes like PEI — seeing many hacks daily.

  2. Another interesting (for small parties and ballot access) result in PEI: in the legislative election, the Green Party got the second largest number of seats and will be the official opposition party. This is the first time PEI will have a minority government. The Conservatives got 12 seats, the Greens 8 and the Liberals 6, with one seat vacant.

Question: have the Greens ever gotten the first or second largest number of seats anywhere above the local level — state, provincial or national?
