New Nevada Registration Data

On May 1, the Nevada Secretary of State released new registration data.  The state releases this data every month.  See it here.

The Libertarian Party is ballot-qualified only because its registration is above 1% of the number of registered voters.  In November 2018 it did not meet the alternate 1% vote test.  The registration data released on May 1, 2019, shows that the registration requirement is currently 15,439, and the party has 15,486 members, so the party has a margin of 47.

Last month, following a voter registration purge, the party only had a margin of 7.

The party did not meet the alternate 1% vote test because its only two statewide candidates were for Governor and U.S. Senate.  It got .91% for Governor and .96% for U.S. Senate.  Both of those races were considered too close to call, although Democrats ending up winning both of them, and gaining a U.S. Senate seat.  The Libertarian Party would easily have met the 2018 vote test if it had bothered to run candidates for the lesser statewide offices, such as Treasurer.

  1. public party registrations = PURGE lists

loved by Stalin and Hitler type monsters.

  2. We should know by now these quotas are manufactured by duopoly legislators to censor the ballot and suppress opposition and ideas. An open all write-in ballot cannot be “over crowded”. It the vote is so vital why not let the voters speak without gags in their mouths?

Until the 1880s voters owned their ballots and could vote however they pleased. There was no state ballot monopoly to impose censorship.

  3. Wow. Esmeralda and Eureka counties with only 587 and 1022 registered voters, respectively. I would guess they are comprised of mostly ghost towns, but can’t be since they each have so many more registered Republicans.

  4. Does this ensure that the LP will be ballot qualified in 2020? In other words, is this the month that ballot qualifying registration is measured for the 2020 election? Or if they were to dip below 1% in a subsequent month, do they lose access?

  5. Us men of the Libertarian Party aren’t doing a good enough job to attract enough voters to the team.

In 2012 our team Barr/Ogle got good publicity in Missouri Libertarian won.

Despite the party bosses censoring our team, blocking us, snuffing out our voices at the L.P. national convention in Las Vegas the Libertarian won.

Just like on April 1st 1995 when we ran 125 candidates in the First Internet Third Party/Independents Mock Presidential Election when Harry Browne the Libertarian won.

Now we’re doing it again just like 1995 and 2012.

Our team is already being blocked from Facebook, Independent Political Report and from Ballot Access News.

  6. The USA Federal Elections Commission (FEC) is either accidentally or on purpose blocking 40 to 80 percent of Libertarian Party US Presidential candidates who seeking equal treatment and equal time and working on Electoral College which is exempt from the financial filings at FEC.

The men of the United Coalition USA are united in our plans, 100% a female candidate for POTUS, then to help women elect the right male for Vice President, despite the unfair treatment and censorship going on now with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).

Our team is bringing the correct unity and we are planning a big announcement to that end this weekend in San Francisco California.
