Prohibition Party Chooses New National Ticket for 2020 — 9 Comments

  1. EACH BORN BEFORE END OF OLDE PROHIBITION IN 1933 ???

NEW AGE DRUGS AND ROCK AND ROLL AND INTERNET GAMES ADDED TO THE P LIST ???

  2. Hopefully these nominees actually aren’t ancient so they won’t have to drop out for health reasons like the last 2

  3. I really hope the Drys continue plugging along and improve their ballot access and vote totals. They are an important part of US political history and if nothing else a really good protest vote when the two dominant parties give us choices that would gag a maggot. Sure, there are other alternative parties but the Greens are going all crazy with big government solutions to largely imaginary problems while the Constitution Party is imploding and the Libertarians have become a minor league affiliate of the GOP. All parties with “Socialist” in their name are complete non-starters. I have never voted Prohibition because they were never on the ballot in a state I was living in at the time. If we get another “choice” like Trump versus Hillary Clinton and the LP goes with another retread I would consider voting Dry as a protest.

  4. How many states even have active Prohibition Party affiliates (not necessarily ballot access)?

  5. *active* ??? = 1 Prohib still alive — dreaming about the BAAADE old days of 1919-1933 ???

    — mass law violations — murders, booze gangs, many corrupt govts controlled by booze gangs.

  6. Collins is a really good choice for the Prohibitionists. He has experience running credible races, and hopefully has the same energy for the Presidential run

  7. I believe Mr. Collins ran in the beginning, when Mr. Bayes was chosen as the nominee. I think he’s in it for the duration. Hopefully the party now has a little bit of stability.
