Democratic National Convention Will be Virtual

On June 24, the Democratic National Committee said that most delegates to the national convention will vote remotely, instead of being physically in Milwaukee. See this story.

As far as is known, the only U.S. political party that will have chosen its 2020 presidential nominee via an in-person presidential convention is the Republican Party.

On June 26, the party announced plans for four virtual hearings to help write the platform. See the party’s webpage here.

  1. Let’s see if the Crapublicans manage to pull it off. At last check cases are climbing exponentially in both Florida and NC.

  2. Both Donkeys and Elephants are STATISM IN THE BRAIN DISEASE parties- since day 1 of each.

  3. ONE SENTENCE Short Platform —

ALL POWERS in the RED Donkey COMMUNIST Prez.
    —-

See olde Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Pol Pot, etc KILLER/enslaver regimes.

Does Senile Biden know what a political party platform is any more ???

  4. Hey y’all,

Deemo rep here, I just wanted to apologize for constantly being a jerk on this website, I’ve really been struggling with a lot of stress for a long while now … and this has provided an outlet for that stress. So I just want to let you know I’m sorry for constantly posting stupid stuff.

  5. Most of what Demo Rep has to say actually is logical and sometimes intelligent if you can understand it. Certainly is not the trolling that people have said it is.

  6. I understand some of what he says and don’t understand some of it. He deliberately makes little effort to be understood, makes zero effort to convince anyone, constantly insults both people here and people who aren’t, always assumes the worst motives in people and worst possible outcomes, and runs away from anyone who seriously tries to engage his ideas.

At the same time he contradicts himself all the time. If any courts or election officials take emergency measures to alter election procedures due to the pandemic he says they are lawless tyrants. If they don’t, they are deliberately trying to kill opposition voters and create tyranny, war or both. Democrats are communists, republicans are fascists, and anyone with any other party is just a divide and conquer tool of one or the other. The only way out is to adopt his electoral reforms, but if that were really so you’d think he would at least try to make himself understood and persuade people. He does the exact opposite.

So, he’s clearly not interested in convincing anyone, which would be the first step to making the changes he believes would save us from tyranny, mass democide, civil war, world war, and maybe worse. Does that make sense? I think not. Consciously or subconsciously he just wants to make himself feel superior to everyone who won’t just adopt his reforms just because he keeps repeating then endlessly in a semi intelligible manner on one message board. He proves to himself he’s a genius and everyone else is a moron, but he has to do it multiple times a day every single day year in and year out. And he needs to do it with an audience, not quietly to himself ,

That’s not even remotely healthy or productive in any way and just makes for a much less pleasant environment for everyone else. Otherwise his comments at best accomplish nothing and at worst actually hurt any good idea he has and the comment environment he chooses to publicly pollute to stroke his ego in full view of anyone in his vicinity.

  7. MAJOR security defect in BAN email programme that allows duplicate fake name to be falsely used.

Can NOT convince MORONS and TROLLS for emergency need of Democracy election reforms

    — since they are part of the statist monsters problemo.

    NON-morons/trolls can be educated.

  8. Maybe, if you actually try to convince people and/or educate, which is pretty much the opposite of what you actually do. This, BTW, is me being nice to you. Me being not so nice to you is to assume you’re a troll or crank and not read your comments.

If you assume people reading are morons and trolls, or alternatively that they follow your every comment for weeks and months on end to even know what you are talking about, or that you making assertions and calling names does something to educate or convince people, how’s that working out for you?

  9. BTW, are the Libertarians still going forward with the “live” portion of their convention in Orlando in July?

  10. It’s starting to sound more and more like that will be cancelled too.
