Rhode Island State Board of Elections Expects to Have Vote Totals for Presidential Write-in Candidates by February 23 — 4 Comments

  1. I hope we will find out that Shawn W. Howard received a couple of write-in votes in Rhode Island. He graduated from Rhode Island’s Bryant College in the 1990s, as did I. He received 12 write-in votes in neighboring Connecticut.

  2. I don’t understand why people think tallying write-in votes is too much to handle when Vermont can release its write-in results within a few days.

  3. I suspect that increased inability to read and write clearly by hand has led to the inability to get comprehensive write-in totals. And, is it just my imagination, or have write-in spaces on ballots gotten smaller over time?
