New York State Board of Elections Posts Election Returns for 22nd U.S. House District

On Sunday, February 14, the New York State Board of Elections posted the results of the November 3, 2020 election, for U.S. House, 22nd district. Here is a link. Claudia Tenney, the nominee of the Republican and Conservative Parties, received 156,098 votes. Anthony Brindisi, the nominee of the Democratic, Working Families, and Independence Parties, received 155.989 votes. Keith Price, the Libertarian, received 6,780.

  1. Just a reminder that Tenney’s campaign submitted fraudulent documents saying she was endorsed by the NY Libertarian Party, effectively trying to steal our line (NY allow fusion). We successfully challenged those documents in court and this was the only reason this election turned out so close as it did.     Have the libertarians considered suing her or sought to have her criminally prosecuted for that?

  4. @Kevin It was talked about but it was decided that since we won in booting her off our line, we didn’t have the needed resources to pursue it further. We just got on the ballot in 2018 and are currently involved with another lawsuit to keep our party status
