Former Congressman Justin Amash, a member of the Libertarian Party, has this interview on WZZM, a station in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is his first interview since he left congress.

More fluff stuff —
NOOO mention of UNEQUAL ballot access laws for partisan offices
NOOO mention of minority rule gerrymanders.
NOOO mention of partisan execs/judics.
NOOO mention of separation of powers.

I would agree that the conversation could have touched on election reform.
Really sad how he switched to Libertarian Party, and then gave up his US House seat without even trying to retain it. Way to fight for the Libertarian Party, Justin. (Sarcasm intended.)
Give him a break. He’s a broken man. His life is over.
How is he a broken man? How is his life over?
ONE major point noted by JA –
the 3 Hydra head monarchs in the USA regime —
H Reps Speaker, Senate majority leader, Prez —
everybody else — gerrymander robots.

Andy – If you want something done right, do it yourself.
Hat tip to Tom Jefferson. Amash remains oblivious to ballot censorship abolition as a key to LP candidates leading voters to have the ability hold duopoly incumbents accountable and replace them with Libertarians.
I ask Amash to reject all forms of ballot censorship and campaign and litigate against it.
Eliminating ballot access laws is not a “silver bullet” that is going to propel Libertarians to victory. Look at the vote totals for LP candidates in states with really easy ballot access, where there were lots of candidates on the ballot, as compared to states where LP candidates had little or no competition from other minor party or independent candidates. Just for one example, Jo Jorgensen got higher vote percentages in states with little to no alternative candidate competition on the ballot than she did in states with lots of candidates on the ballot.
I am not saying that the ballot access law a are great, I am pointing out that eliminating ballot access laws is not going to automatically lead to victories for Libertarian Party candidates.
Another great interview with Justin Amash. He is very refreshing compared to lots of the bigger “libertarian” names that deal with hyperbole and conspiratorial paranoia. He is the opposite of a firebrand and serves as a great example for future Libertarians
