Democratic Party Files Opening Brief in Ninth Circuit in Arizona Lawsuit on Order of Candidates on Ballot

On March 18, the Democratic Party filed this opening brief in the Ninth Circuit in Mecinas v Hobbs, 20-16301. This is the lawsuit challenging the Arizona law on order of candidates on the general election ballot. The law says the nominees of the party that carried that county for Governor in the preceding election are placed on the top line. The U.S. District Court had upheld the law.

  1. Each election is N-E-W —

another election law thing that MORON lawyers and judges can NOT detect in their one cell so-called brains.

Same for ballot access for A-L-L individual candidates.

  2. Worrying about candidate ballot order is a bit like worrying about how the deck chairs are arranged on the Titanic. Especially now, with the tendency of both major parties to restrict ballot access to third party and independent candidates as much as possible. When we actually see more candidates’ names on the ballot, then maybe we want to give more thought to how they are placed.

  3. HOW MANY LOOOOW IQ VOTERS ALWAYS VOTE FOR THE TOP LISTED CANDIDATE ???

0.1-10.0 PCT OF ALL VOTERS ???

MARGINAL PLURALITY DIFFERENCE IN MARGINAL GERRYMANDER DISTRICTS ???
