U.S. House Candidate in Wyoming Switches Affiliation from Republican to Constitution

According to this story, Wyoming congressional candidate Marissa Selvig has switched her party registration from Republican to Constitution. She has been campaigning for the 2022 U.S. House election for a year, but will no longer seek the Republican nomination. Instead she is asking the Constitution Party to nominate her. During 2019 and 2020 she was Mayor of Pavillion. Thanks to Independent Political Report for the link.

  1. Interesting. Reminds me of Rick Jore who did the same thing about twenty years ago in Montana.

  2. Think she’d get a large vote by 3rd party standards if Cheney wins the Republican primary.

  3. Perhaps the legislature in Wyoming will follow Georgia’s precedent, and require 25,000 signatures to run as an independent.

  4. Constitution Party is the 5th or 6th largest political party in the United States.
    In Colorado the Republican and Democratic party not friendly with their candidates’ recruits.

  5. It will be great to have a real Trump Republican representing his strongest state, and not a disgusting sellout rhino like Liz Cheney.
