I hope they put candidates through a serious vetting process. Reaching out to the general public for candidates could bring forth a lot of opportunists who are not really serious about the Libertarian Party or the libertarian philosophy.
NJLP did something similar; sending out a request to basically anybody that’s ever been on their mailing list.
