Aside from Texas, 2022 Primaries Start on May 3

Texas held its primary this year on March 1, but that is the only state that has held any congressional primaries this year. The next primaries are on May 3, and are being held by Ohio and Indiana. The Ohio primary ballot does not include lower house of the state legislature; that office is up later this year due to late redistricting.

  1. Indiana primaries that matter are Congress Republican 1st (to challenge Rep. Mrvan in a historically Democratic district rapidly going red) and 9th (open seat after Republican incumbent retires to ponder whether to run for Governor in 2 years or not). The main U.S. Senate candidate for each major party got all prospective challengers removed from ballot due to not getting 500 signatures in all 9 districts (1 Republican, 2 Democrats). Republican Congressional incumbent Baird got a potentially strong challenger removed from the ballot due to a technical law item (you must have voted in the most recent 2 primaries, and if you did not you need signature from your county party chair, and the potentially strong challenger’s county party chair would not sign for him). None of the Democratic primaries matter – foregone conclusion or congrats, you’ve won the right to get destroyed in November. Down-ballot there are a ton of challenged incumbents for state legislature.

  2. About 42 of the 50 States are one party commie/fascist monarch/oligarch regimes.

    It shows every second.

    Civil W-A-R II possible any day — if/when some monarch/oligarch in the 42 says/does something IN-tolerable.
