Six Statewide Petitions Submitted for New York General Election

The New York petition deadline for independent candidates, and the nominees of unqualified parties, was May 31. It appears that six statewide petitions were submitted: the Libertarian, Green, Independence, Freedom and Unite statewide candidates, and independent U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare.

The nominee of the Unite Party is Harry Wilson, who is also seeking the Republican nomination later this month. The nominee of the Freedom Party is Skiboky Stora, who originally tried to get on the Republican primary ballot for Governor but did not succeed.

Six Statewide Petitions Submitted for New York General Election — 22 Comments

  1. Which candidates did the Independence Party submit? Did Unite NY and Harry Wilson submit one?

  2. If Sharpe only turned in 50,000 and something he will likely get challenged and knocked off. Sad but likely it will end up true. Better pray for no challenge.

  3. Larry had 50,000 with a day or two left to collect. If 10 percent get tossed he is still on ballot. His appeal for donations for lawyer fees should tell us it’s gonna be close if he makes the cut or not.

  4. It’s rare for New York challenges to be filed against statewide petitions. It is too much work for the challengers. I believe the Libertarian statewide petition had about 54,500 signatures.

The Independence Party nominees are also the Republican nominees, for all the statewide offices.

  5. There might still be more petitions coming. If they arrive in the postal mail of the State Board of Elections office on Thursday, June 2, that is permitted.

  6. The Independence Party doesn’t exist anymore in NY after 2020. If they have any candidates they would have also had to submit petitions

  7. Do any of them support ending discrimination and genocide against Whites, ending Chinese Communist and Zionist occupation, and rounding up and deporting all illegal invaders and everyone who would not be here except for the suicidal immigration laws of 1965? Who among them is for ending forced desegregation and putting God back in the public schools?

  8. Aubrey, if you were actually well-acquainted with anyone who lives in the U.S. and who is undocumented, your thinking might change. It is human nature to be disdainful of a group of people that you don’t actually know. You are no different than anyone else in that regard. I just wish there were people in your life whom you really know and care about, who are undocumented.

  9. The Independence Party is not a RECOGNIZED party in NY. They were culled along with the Green and Libertarian parties when they changed the definition of a recognized party in 2019-2020

  10. “Aubrey, if you were actually well-acquainted with anyone who lives in the U.S. and who is undocumented, your thinking might change.”

I am. It hasn’t. Besides rounding up and deporting them I am in favor of declaring open hunting season on them, year round, no bag limit.

“You are no different than anyone else in that regard. I just wish there were people in your life whom you really know and care about, who are undocumented.”

They are all up and down my road. I do care about them, but not in a friendly way. I care about them kind of like I care about the snakes and weeds in my yard, roaches and termites in my house, cancer growths in my intestines…it would not be accurate to say that I am indifferent to them. I want them gone, now.

  11. If I catch one of them screwing any of my daughters, forget calling the police, I will take the law in my own hands.

  12. If only you got to know the roaches and termites, kept them as pets, and became well-acquainted with them, you wouldn’t call for their extermination.

  13. After the MAJOR sigs FRAUD in Mich —

    ALL sig pets are suspect.
