Two New York Petitioning Parties Blast Democratic Party for Challenging All Statewide Petitions

The Yonkers Times has this article about the Democratic Party’s challenge to all the statewide petitions filed by the nominees of unqualified parties. The article came about because the Green Party and the Unite New York Party issued a press release, criticizing the Democratic Party for its challenges.

The article says that seven gubernatorial candidates filed petitions. Groups that have their own nominee are the Green, Libertarian, and Unite NY Parties. Groups that put Lee Zeldin, the likely Republican nominee on their petition, are Independence and Parents. It is not known whom the Freedom and New Vision Parties listed for Governor.

The article does not mention an independent petition filed for U.S. Senate, for Diane Sare, and that petition has not been challenged. She submitted approximately 60,000 signatures.

  1. NO surprise in the one party RED commie Donkey state of total statism and NET tax getters and NET tax slaves.
    —-
    equal ballot access – sigs/fees
    PR – legis
    APPV – nonpartisan execs/judics
    TOTSOP

  2. New York has four qualified parties: Democratic, Republican, Conservative, and Working Families.

  3. The Freedom Party candidate is Skiboky Skora. He was disqualified from the Republican primary for governor. He ran for mayor of NYC in 2021 as the candidate of the Out Lawbreaker Party and receive 99 votes good for 9th place. His petition appears to have one sheet.

The New Visions (note final ‘s’) candidate is Carole Anne Seidelman. I can not find anything political about her or the party. There is is a Ghanain New Visions Party.

The US Senator candidate is running as the candidate of the LaRouche Independent Party.

Running for the Assembly are candidates of the Common Sense, Broadband Now, and Integrity parties, which appear to be backup or secondary lines for Democratic candidates.

6 candidates filed Independence petitions. One also filed as D/C, four also filed as R, and as one R/C.

One filed as a Green with no other parties.

One filed as Fair Deal independent of any other nominations.

  4. Again, why require more then 5,000 signatures? Seems like these rules could meet state interest without being a draconian pain.

  5. I just had a New Vision that said that the New Visions Party will not qualify for the ballot.

  6. Andy you are invited to participate at IPR-X which is a better site than IPR and has more engagement. We even link to your YouTube page.

  7. We the people elected Trump (twice) to drain the swamp and save America and make it great again. The first time the deep state and fake news evildoers and traitor scum nullified the will of the people with the Russia hoax and impeachment hoax part 1 and 2 and the ridiculous phony china virus plandemic. The second time they just plain rigged and stole the election and put in a dementia ridden puppet for the Chinese and Ukrainian oligarchs.

So in 2024 when we the people elect Trump again he should be given a twelve (12) year term and it should count as his first term as far as his eligibility. And he should be made the President and CEO of the USA with the power to fire any congressman, judge, governor, mayor etc. As well as any CEO of any American company.

Then at the end of 12 years we the people get to vote on whether to extend his leadership yet again. By then maybe it will be time to put one of his son’s in charge of the country. Or maybe not quite yet, and we keep Daddy in charge a little bit longer. Either way God bless America and God bless Trump.
