North Carolina Democratic Party Files Appeal in Green Party Ballot Access Case

On August 8, the North Carolina Democratic Party filed an appeal in North Carolina Green Party v North Carolina State Board of Elections. In the Fourth Circuit, the case is 22-1830. The Democratic Party also asked the U.S. District Court to stay its order that put the Green Party candidates on the ballot.

The Green Party’s response is due on Wednesday, August 10, at noon.

  1. The Democrats need to realize that retaining plurality voting puts them in the position of suppressing voter choices.

    North Carolina Democratic Party – same party in 2022 it was in 1922.

  3. The Democratic Party in North Carolina really must hate the Green Party. I never seen such hatred exposed like it is there in courts.
