Going to the issue that prompted her withdrawal, it seems to me that there should be no dollar limit on the amount of contributions that anyone can make to a candidate.
As az has often said, there is no dollar limit in the 1st Amendment.

Small correction on this. Per the news piece, the complaint is that Kotek (not Paravicini) broke the law by inducing Paravicini to drop out. Significant because the alleged transgressor, Kotek, is still in the tight Oregon gubernatorial race.
