For the first time, the Green Party is circulating a petition to be a qualified party in South Dakota. As a result of a 2018 lawsuit, the number of signatures is 1% of the last gubernatorial vote, whereas in the past it was 2.5%.

So does that mean that any party that wants to be on the ballot needs around 3,500 signatures?
yes
Seems legit.
Next door in North Dakota, its like 7,000 petition signatures.
I don’t even think I would sign a Green Party petition.
No right thinking American patriot who loves Jesus and free Enterprise would sign one.
Green Party splits the commie vote, which makes it more likely patriots get elected.
I might sign it for that reason lol
Getting any third minor party on the ballot is important. I would probably vote for them any day before GOP or DEMO just as principle.
Voting for them is definitely a step too far. I would never vote for a communist, pinko, or any kind of leftist or green puke or demon rat.
