Green Party Circulates Petition for Party Status in South Dakota

For the first time, the Green Party is circulating a petition to be a qualified party in South Dakota. As a result of a 2018 lawsuit, the number of signatures is 1% of the last gubernatorial vote, whereas in the past it was 2.5%.

  1. So does that mean that any party that wants to be on the ballot needs around 3,500 signatures?

  2. Getting any third minor party on the ballot is important. I would probably vote for them any day before GOP or DEMO just as principle.

  3. Voting for them is definitely a step too far. I would never vote for a communist, pinko, or any kind of leftist or green puke or demon rat.
