Sarah Stogner is a Texas attorney who ran for Railroad Commission in 2022. She placed second in the Republican primary, forcing a primary run-off. In 2024 she hopes to be the Forward Party nominee for that office.

She is going to have a very difficult time getting on the ballot considerinh what the petition signature requirement in Texas is.

Presumably the Forward Party will petition to qualify. If she or any other statewide candidate receives 2% of the vote the party will be qualified for the next five elections.

I do not know that she is a well known lawyer. She may have gained notoriety for a campaign video shot on a stripper well (production less than 10 BBL/da.)
