Libertarian Party of Arkansas on the Ballot for 2024

According to LPAR Chair Michael Pakko, word was received on Friday, October 27, from the Arkansas Secretary of State, that the LPAR is qualified for the ballot through the November 2024 General Election.

The Arkansas SoS said that 10,932 signatures were valid out of 13,214 signatures turned in, for a validity rate of 82.73%. Ten-thousand valid signatures were required for the petition to succeed.

This was a party petition, meaning that the LPAR is qualified for all partisan elections in Arkansas through November 5, 2024.

  1. Pakko’s chairmanship is starting to approach Mao’s in duration if not in any other way.

  2. At least they will have the chance to try again. Arkansas, like the rest of the country, need another option besides the uniparty.

  3. 1. I simply cannot imagine a legitimate government interest in requiring more than 5,000 petition signatures for a new party to get registered and be able to run its candidates in all partisan elections. 10,000 seems too high, which is why I have been lobbying for a federal bill, first introduced in 1985, that would cap the # of signatures for federal office to a reasonable number.

  4. More surprised he had the gall to run at all after betraying his President, his party and his country on J6

  5. ANY BAN TROLL MORON KNOW-IT-ALLS RUNNING FOR PREZ VIA THE TROLL MORONS PARTY ???

You talk about what is fair for the people, but consider what is in the State interest.

A state requiring more than 5,000 signatures, no matter the population, will virtually never have an overcrowded ballot. Therefore… hey, you’re still right!

  8. I think part of it depends upon the population of a state. 5,000 valid petition signatures is more difficult in Arkansas, one of the lower population states, than it would be in California and Texas, which are the #1 and #2 states for having the highest populations.

  9. Keep the Electoral College. Repeal the 17th Amendment. Have legislators elect Electors as well. Repeal other amendments and federal laws which expanded the electorate. Pay reparations with compound interest to descendants of slaveowners. Bring troops home from around the world, put them on Mexican border with shoot to kill orders for all illegals and dopers. Have a real, Duterte style war on drugs. Russia is our friend. The Jews will not replace us. Round up and deport everyone who would not be here if not for 1965 immigration law, including current citizens.

  10. AZ, this is your warning to stay away from Pat. Next time I will run you in.

  11. Is it easier to collect signatures from 10% of the attendees at a birthday party, or to collect one-hundredth of 1% of all the voters of the United States?

  12. AZ is the only BAN troll moron I know of, and only he and his dope dealer would know how much he uses. Personally I’m very anti drug and support the death penalty for drug users, including marijuana. I’ve never tried any illegal drugs and never will. Most of my family are career military and police and I’m proud to say many have been front line in the war on drugs, but we all wish their hands were not tied and we could execute the dopers and dope pushers when they are caught instead of catch and release.

My uncle used to head up a team which burned marijuana grow operations and he would have dearly lived to burn the growers together with their evil satanic weed. He did get to shoot and kill a couple of them in self defense here and there, but there could have been so many more. It saddens me that he passed away before we legalize hunting dopers like the animals they are. I look forward to killing them when it becomes legal.

  13. I ain’t saying if I kilt any or not, I’m just gonna tell you, if you feed a dopehead to a pig, there won’t be any evidence left over. Just saying.

  14. Pat

The founding fathers would have been shocked at the idea that adults smoking pot could result in criminal sanctions.

  15. MJ IN EUROPE IN 1492/1607 ???

FIRST MJ FOUND IN N AMERICA WHEN ???

FBI STILL HAS COPIES OF 1938 REEFER MADNESS MOVIE ???

  16. I agree. Let’s kill all the dopeheads, dope pushers, and dope legalizers. We must end the drug plague once and for all. Mass executions of dopers was also how China won its war on opium in the 19th century. It’s time to win the war on drugs once and for all.
