Arizona Secretary of State Still Hasn’t Filed Notice of Appeal in No Labels Lawsuit Over Party Freedom of Association

It has been three days since a U.S. District Court in Arizona ruled that No Labels Party can bar candidates from filing for congress and partisan state office in its primary.  Even though the Secretary of State had said he will appeal, he hasn’t yet filed a notice of appeal.  No Labels Party v Fontes, 2:23cv-2172.

  1. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, it’s been six days since my great great grandson staged a vociferous protest, walkout, and boycott regarding the daily serving of vegetables at the supper table.

    He initially staked out a very uncompromising and bold negotiating position, threatening to hold his breath until his demands were accepted. However, attempts at collective bargaining fell apart quickly, and less ambitious fallback positions soon followed.
