Hawaii State Senator Karl Rhoads (D-Honolulu) has introduced SB 2392, to ban insurrectionists from running for public office. Hawaii has no presidential primaries, so as applied to presidential candidates, the bill would only affect the general election.
Not that Trump’s absence from the ballot there would affect his electability, given how heavily Democratic Hawaii is.
Wouldn’t that be more of a problem for Biden, since he’s an insurrectionist and Trump isn’t?
This could be a huge problem for Biden. If he doesn’t get Hawaii’s electoral votes, his campaign is effectively over. Selling out America to Red China and Mexican drug cartels is as insurrectionist as it gets.
The open border too.
WILL BIDEN SELL HI TO PUTIN OR XI OR BOTH ???
IE ENTIRE PACIFIC OCEAN INTO A GREAT COMMIE SEA ???
Clearly, Biden can’t win without Hawaii. His next move to avoid hanging at the end of a rope along with his son, brother etc during Trump state of the union address is for their crime family to flee to China.
You’re right, but they will probably end up being executed there too. Nobody likes traitors, not even the foreign enemies they betray their race and nation to help.
Holding elections to to staff government positions is a state monopoly. Why not simply enact a law saying so and so is elected? Unvarnished fascism.
STATE HACKS CAN NOT ADD TO QUALIFS / DIS-QUALIFS OF CANDIDATES FOR USA OFFICES — BY MERE STATE BILLS/LAWS.
INDICT THE HI GERRYMANDER HACK — FOR INSURRECTION AGAINST THE USA CONST/LAWS.
Hawaii is a prime example of why it was never wise to add states where the physical progeny of the founders are in the minority, or indeed to give voting rights to such people to begin with.
It’s definitely a banana republic that has pulled above its weight in making the rest of the U.S. the same way.
The bill should require conviction under the federal insurrection statute (AZ will know the USC section).
Insurrectionist Biden is against passage. He wants to maintain eligibility in 2028.
