Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Says it is Conceivable that He Will Seek the Libertarian Nomination — 30 Comments

  1. WHERE IS HIS SIGNED SUPPORT FOR THE LP PLATFORM – ESP THE LP STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES ???

HOW MANY SECONDS HAS HE BEEN A LP PARTY MEMBER ???

  2. Jailing climate change deniers and banning “assault” weapons. The LP would have most definitely gone off the deep end if they nominate him.

  3. He would be, as of the convention. Not exactly a mystery. Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Gary Johnson did it.

  4. Sarwark would get a hard on for Kennedy, except for the anti forced jab view (Sarwark supports it).

  5. “He would be [a Libertarian], as of the convention. Not exactly a mystery. Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Gary Johnson did it”

    LINOs ?

  6. I will not support nor will I vote for the candidate of any party who persist in denying that ballot access laws are censorship of voters right to chose and assert control over government at all levels.
I would be happy, as a co-founder of the Libertarian party and a congressional candidate, to be a co-plaintiff with RFK Jr. in a federal lawsuit to abolish ballot access censorship laws in Oklahoma, however.

  7. DFR

HOW ABOUT BE AN INDEPENDENT OR DFR PARTY CANDIDATE IN OKLA FOR STANDING PURPOSES ???

1954 BROWN V BD OF ED – SEPARATE IS NOT EQUAL — N-O-T BROUGHT UP IN 1968 WILLIAMS V RHODES.

RESULT — SCREWED UP BALLOT ACCESS LAWS/CASES SINCE 1968.

  8. TRUMP WILL PICK A VP CAND STOOGE/HACK/TROLL TO TRY AND RIG ALL BALLOT ACCESS AND VOTES FROM THE GOP NATL CONV TO NOON 20 JAN 2025 — AND THE FUTURE.

  9. Trump will be the legitimate winner this year with an excellent MAGA VP.

  10. It will look bad for Kennedy if he trys to get the Libertarian nomination. It’s not what most people want. He’ll lose support.

  11. I think RFK Jr. is way better than Bill Weld, but he is still not what I would call a libertarian.

  12. I guess a party that could nominate Bob Barr could nominate RFK, Jr. I would think the Mises folks would find him an anathema especially on environmental issues. They probably applaud his views on vaccines especially the COVID mRNA vaccines. not a good fit to say the least.

  13. It’s the end of January. If RFK hasn’t worked out his plan to get sufficient ballot access to be competitive in November and is still considering seeking a party nomination as part of formulating that plan it should be clear that his campaign is both weaker and less competent than many would make it out to be. Should ballot access be such a barrier? Of course not. But it is and failure to prepare to overcome it is a path to ineffectiveness.

  14. That’s disgusting, and one of the few things I’d be in favor of censoring here. As for Sirhan, he’s exactly where he should be.

Regarding Powell’s comments, the fact that Kennedy is considering saving money by taking a party nomination doesn’t mean he has no plan or any shortage of funds to execute that plan if he decides against it.

  15. He needs to get on board with White Nationalism. A lot of libertarians already are, and the rest need to get on board also.

  16. Chris Powell said it best. I think the Kennedy campaign has some big goals, but for them, right now until August, there is no goal bigger than ballot access.
