LeRoy Jones, chair of the New Jersey Democratic Party, has this op-ed, in which he declares himself opposed to the ballot format used in most New Jersey counties, in primaries, that puts the party’s favored candidate a far more prominent spot on the ballot. Thanks to David Sturrock for the link.

  1. The world doesn’t want to know, although we assume pretty much everyone does regardless.

  2. I agree. No candidate should be favored by the state, especially the party’s choice.

    That should also hold in general elections.

  3. Voting in person, standing count, means no candidates or parties favored by the state.

  4. I’m not Max, I just like his idea. It would work just fine. See Iowa dp primary.

    The only part of the max plan that wouldn’t work for 10 million is single precinct. That part would have to wait.

    If you mean simple laws, I think that would work fine too.
