  1. Erroneous statement in the story about how often libertarians had 50 states plus DC for their presidential ticket. In reality it was only 2020, 2016, 1996, and 1992 (and even then, only if you count states where their nominees were on as independents).

You could add 2000 if you make allowances for a different candidate in one state. That leaves 2012, 2008, 2004, and every cycle from 1972-88. I’ll have to double check 1980, but I don’t think it was all 50 off the top of my head.

They’re unlikely to have 50 plus DC this year, except perhaps if they nominate Kennedy, then maybe. Their current plan calls for missing New York, Illinois and DC, and misses in additional states are possible.

In other promising news for libertarians, near-libertarian George Santos recently quit the GOP and is running as an independent. The party of the Q Anon Shaman seems like a natural fit for Mr. Santos. Rumors that he was running with the Retard Party for Vice President proved unfounded. The libertarians could definitely seriously consider a Santos-Shaman or Shaman-Santos ticket if Kennedy turns them down.

  2. I really hope someone makes it onto the ballot in NY this year. I’d rather not write in a name.

  3. I’m seriously starting to resent George Santos. I supported him on the Retard Ticket even though the top of ticket is a dead guy. Painted a big sign for them and put it in front of my trailer. Went to jail trying to steal paint to change it to Stock. Spent a bunch of time in truck stop toilets collecting one signature per page ballot forms for them even though I’m not even allowed to vote.

And now I hear this joker might be running as a libertarian instead of as a retard? What gives? I’m legit pissed, and all out of laundry soap!

  4. Ok, 1980. That’s still 2000/4-12, 1984-88, and 1972-6 when they didn’t make 51, which is more times than they did.

  5. @ACR in fairness, he triangulates very near perfectly between Republican, Libertarian, and Retard.

  6. What’s wrong with running a dead guy at the top of the ticket? The Democrats are doing it, after all. Granted, they won’t win either, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they come in second and even carry a few states.

  7. You can get some emergency laundry soap from the salvation army.

  8. What do Libertarians believe in except arguing with each other? How does Kennedy fit in with the party’s membership?

  9. LP FACTIONS LIKE SOCIALIST FACTIONS ???

PR– ELECT REPS FOR ALL *LARGE* FACTIONS

    TOTAL VOTES / TOTAL REPS

  10. He’s against vax mandates and lockdown, the worst violation of liberty in our time. He dislikes crony corporatism. He’s against bankster bailouts and the military industrial complex. He opposes foreign intervention and the US war against Russia. So, he’s libertarian on the most important issues.

  11. I wonder how his announcement of a Vice Presidential running mate will affect this situation.

  12. It will probably help. L.p. Nerds are thirsty for hot chicks, will be in awe of her wealth, and easily swayed by her San Francisco hooker wiles. Libertarians are known to be suckers for San Francisco prostitutes.

  13. They’re essentially the less financially successful end of the same demographic she has spent her life perfecting wrapping around her finger.

  14. Nicole ChineseHo figured out how to get Sergey Brin for half his money. Libertarians should be short work for her.
