As far as I know, and I follow this stuff, Cornel West has put close to zero effort into getting on ballots thus far. All he has done is approach a few parties that have ballot access in one state about putting on the ballot. I think maybe 2 or 3 have agreed to do so thus far.
Islam is inevitable, so just get on your knees and enjoy it.
According to West’s campaign site, West has access with state parties in South Carolina, Alaska and Oregon. He made it on through petition in Utah so far. He still has several months to get on most of the states ballots

No. Electors can’t vote for a President and VP from the same state as themselves. It does not even begin to be a problem until and unless they actually win their home state. And even then, one of them just has to switch their official residence before the electoral college meets.
