The incumbent parties simply want to ban from the voters candidates they regard as insubordinate. Let the voters choose without prior censorship with the general election ballot. Parties can choose to endorse, but all voters must have unfettered access to candidates and have the final say.
The SREC censured five representatives but declined to attempt to block them from the ballot. The censure permits the party to campaign against them in the primary.
