On March 12, Brian Doherty died at the age of 57. He was the author of six books, including Radicals for Capitalism, a history of the Libertarian Party and the libertarian movement. He was also a reporter for Reason Magazine. His death seems to have been an accident while he was hiking in rugged terrain in Marin County, California. UPDATE: see this obituary at Reason.com.

I am sorry to hear of Brian Doherty’s passing. The name sounded familiar and I found his book “Radicals for Capitalism” on my bookshelf.

Rest in peace to Doherty, who deserved and deserves better than to have his memorial thread used to spooge the usual artificial ztupidity hallucinations about “tyrant” Trump and hating America from the Ayatollah’s Zombie spambot. Despite Doherty’s own anti-Trump shortcomings, he produced a great body of literary work, and there are lots of other unrelated discussions for the Antichrist Zoophile spambot to disgrace here in its programmed mission to inspire more assassination attempts against Liberator Trump.
Also, can we please keep links in memorial threads to being about the person who passed away or something to do with them? Even if it’s from woke pedo wackypedia, but please limit the unrelated fake news spam to all the other posts at least?
I was reading his latest book when I heard the newd
Radicals for capitalism is still his best IMO. He’ll be missed.
This is burning man is my personal favorite.
