On May 11, U.S. District Court Judge William B. Shubb, a Bush Sr. appointee, refused to put Butch Ware on the California primary ballot as a Green Party candidate for Governor. Ware v Weber, e.d., 2:26cv-1643. Here is the ruling, which says nothing about the constitutional issue of requiring gubernatorial candidates to submit copies of income tax returns. The constitutional issue will be decided later. The basis for the ruling is that the primary election is already underway. Already several hundred thousand Californians have voted.
UNCONST ELECTIONS >>> NEW CONST ELECTION LATER
Early voting should be abolished.
Adjudication by procrastination is not unusual.
Jim is correct, and I would add mail voting and secret ballots. For that matter, ballots in general should go – voice vote is better, or better yet standing count.
Unfortunately, D. Frank Robinson is also correct..
It’s fine. We always knew we we’re going to be vindicated by the courts. His write-in candidacy is legitimate. Write him in! Voter suppression vis a vis ballot engineering from the CA democratic party is not something I’m going to forget anytime soon.
I wouldn’t vote for him in w million years, but this is a screw job.
Just make Trump governor. He can do both.
California should try the top one system. President Trump would send in the Marines and National Guard, along with the FBI, ICE, Border Patrol etc.
Pete Hegseth, Ka$h Patel, and Tom Homan would restore order and deport all deportables and family members, drop all the commies and libtards out of helicopters, execute all the felons, arrest all the misdemeanors, whip them, make them pick up trash, etc.
Then Steve Hilton would be appointed Governor by acclaim for a period of 12 years. The voter rolls would be cleaned up and purged and an honest election would be conducted with Federal supervision. The votes would get counted by Turning Point Action.
