California Files Brief In Butch Ware’s Ballot Access Case

On June 1, California filed this brief in Ware v Weber, e.d., 2:26cv-1643. This is the lawsuit filed by Butch Ware, Green Party candidate for California Governor, over the state’s unique law that says gubernatorial candidates must file copies of their income tax returns for the last five years. The state argues that the case is moot. That is a very weak argument. In 1969 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Moore v Ogilvie that ballot access constitutional cases are not moot just because the election is over before the case can be adjudicated.

  1. Haven’t the “moot” arguments been winning in court a lot lately? I’m not a lawyer and don’t play one on TV, that’s just what I gathered from reading past articles here. I wouldn’t call an argument weak if it’s been prevailing in many places.

  2. No candidate for any office should have to disclose tax returns, and that isn’t moot. But I think recent court cases indicate that it may well be found moot anyway, if I’m not mistaken about what I’ve read on this site previously.

  3. Meth addicts can stay awake long enough to get a new set of teeth and phony election results from Karen Bass and her gang of demon rats (no telling which will last longer, the vote “counting” or the teeth).

  4. As predicted, the two leading candidates for Governor are one Republican, one demon rat (Hilton and Becerra). The only surprise, if any, is that Hilton has an early lead. That lead will evaporate with mail vote/counting fraud, but he will stay in second, because having a Republican to run against will boost demon rat turnout in the second round and help them down ballot. Becerra will be the next governor.

Despite all the articles here about how two Republicans might well emerge with the lead into the top two, that’s not going to happen. Demon Rat Steyer is currently in third, and the only reason why the fraud merchants won’t advance him into second place behind eventual first place better and your next governor Becerra was already stated in the first paragraph above.

Any momentum for getting rid of top two will then die, because it will have worked once again exactly as the demon rat powers that be want, and they will move on to other things such as more reconquista, free fentanyl for K-12, pooping on sidewalks as an inalienable human right, a windmill on every corner, forced transing of randomly chosen middle school students, and so on.

The Communist revolution in California continues. Avoid the forced labor and extermination camps by self deporting now while you still can, if you haven’t already!

  5. You really thought I would allow a Republican to take my place? You are so naive! LOL, SMH.

  6. As with anything and everything else, only Trump can save California. It certainly won’t come from the corrupt, third world style California election system. POTUS 47 needs to send in the Marines and National Guard to clean the rat infested mess up and restore order.

  7. To make California great again, be like Trump and join the Klan! KKK! KKK! KKK all the way!

  8. Who would be some good candidates for military governor of occupied California that Liberator Trump should consider appointing after he sends in the Marines and National Guard to liberate California?

  9. Greg Bovino and Tom Homan immediately come to mind. Ka$h Patel, maybe, despite being a brown. Any of President Trump’s sons. Steve Hilton or Spencer Pratt, since they are already running. That’s all I got for now.
