It says that the voting rights groups may proceed to seek an injunction against the Presidential Executive Order that tells the Department of Homeland Security to prepare a list of approved voters. Then, the intent of the Executive Order is to provide that the U.S. Postal Service may not deliver a postal ballot to anyone who is not on the list. An earlier decision had said the case is not ripe, but now it is ripe, as applied to coming elections this year.

In Massachusetts is is possible to go to the Elections Division web site, and search one’s own registration to determine if is current and accurate.
Several states have that, but typically you need to already have some personal information about the person you are looking up and don’t get additional personal details other than registration status by doing the search. That’s different from making the voter list public.
