You can at least read part of the story on politicopro.com. This is important, because if Hochul earns at least 2% of the total vote for Governor on the Working Families Party line, the WFP will remain a ballot qualified party in the State of New York.

  4. I would have been far more surprised if she wasn’t on the WFP ballot line; WFP is basically joined at the hip with the Democrats. They’ll almost certainly get their 2% because of their taking the easy road to it, and NY voters will continue to be deprived of meaningful electoral opposition to the two ruling parties.

    A group that saw its proposal to require voters to prove their citizenship status before voting in Michigan blocked from the Nov. 3 ballot is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse that decision immediately.
    On Monday, Aug. 31, Americans for Citizen Voting filed an emergency appeal to Justice Brett Kavanaugh asking for an injunction to be issued within days ordering the Michigan Secretary of State’s office to declare the constitutional amendment proposal proper and order it placed on the November ballot ahead of the Sept. 4 meeting of the Board of State Canvassers to finalize the listing.
