The Utah Forward Party has 16 nominees for state legislature on the ballot, more than any other state minor party. However, this only counts nominees who are only the nominee of that particular minor party. It excludes candidates nominated by the Conservative Party of New York, the Working Families Parties of Connecticut and New York, and the nominees of the Independent Party of Connecticut, who are also major party nominees.
Runner-up to the Forward Party of Utah are the Libertarian Parties of Colorado and North Carolina, each of whom had 15 nominees.

Yes. The Progressive Party of Vermont always elects some of its legislative nominees, and one of the Utah Forward Party nominees is the incumbent and she might win.

The Democratic National Committee has been forced to cancel the 2026 convention as they are sadly unable to answer the question, “What is a Democrat?” Some believe a Democrat is a nice person who likes puppies, some believe a Democrat is a nice person who wants to kneecap Trump, and some believe a Democrat is a mean person who loves communism. With the party leaders unable to agree on who should attend, the 2026 DNC has been canceled and all future party decisions will be made by AI.
As an unreconstructed Southernor who doesn’t care to share federal voting power with the voting majorities in New England and California, I heartily endorse their calls for their states to exit the USA.
Unfortunately, past precedent from my own ancestors, as well as everything that has happened since, indicates the USA would go to any lengths to prevent their exit, ours, or anyone else’s.
I don’t see anything on the foreseeable horizon that seems likely to change that in my lifetime, or even that of people of the median national age group.

Trump will fight socialism by having the US Treasury cut everyone $5k checks. It reminds me of the time I spent my Christian mission trip spreading the good news of the gospel to prostitutes, having sex with dozens of them and catching gonorrhea in the process.
In order to “fight” communism and socialism, Trump wants to redistribute wealth by sending every American an equal share of tax revenues. To this, we communists can only say, Go Trump!
