Utah Forward Party Has More Legislative Nominees Than Any Other State Minor Party

The Utah Forward Party has 16 nominees for state legislature on the ballot, more than any other state minor party. However, this only counts nominees who are only the nominee of that particular minor party. It excludes candidates nominated by the Conservative Party of New York, the Working Families Parties of Connecticut and New York, and the nominees of the Independent Party of Connecticut, who are also major party nominees.

Runner-up to the Forward Party of Utah are the Libertarian Parties of Colorado and North Carolina, each of whom had 15 nominees.

  1. Do any of the ones who are not also major party nominees have any realistic chance of winning in any state?
