National Libertarian Party Restores Print Monthly Publication

The national Libertarian Party has resumed publishing a monthly print newsletter, the “LP News”. The August 2026 issue is arriving in members’ mailboxes. It is described as “Volume 55, issue 3”, reflecting that the publication was first created in 1972, but has been on hiatus for several years.

  1. Let’s throw some more money down the drain shall we? Considering the chair is an armed burglar, not surprising.

  2. I have a different feeling about it. I expect the LP News will stimulate more members to send contributions.

  3. How archaic and dunderheaded.

55 years of losing and failure. Past time to hang it up and stop embarrassing themselves as well as actual libertarians because they have misappropriated the name, but some people never learn, or actually regress, and get their jollies by embarrassing themselves and others in public.

The only Libertarian party in the USA worthy of the name is LPNH, so naturally they were recently disaffiliated by these yokels for actually being libertarian, unlike the national party of cosplay losertarian libertine LARPer lepers and leftist lapdogs.

  4. Speaking of embarrassing, what’s this above about the chairman being an armed burglar?!

  5. Awesome idea for shaking down dementia ridden childless and unmarried geriatric patients.

They will especially soil their diapers and dungarees extra hard and send in their old fashioned paper checks made out by shaky hand through snail mail if they are also gay and on illegal street drugs in addition to their bevy of prescribed pharmaceuticals.

If the armed robbery thing is true, congrats to the felly for coming up with a brilliant scam. Cheers mate! I r8 b8 8/8

  6. Not my party or ideology, but I don’t understand all the negativity among libertarians, particularly towards each other.

If what Mr. McMahon says in his email is true, kudos to him for turning his life around.

As for the physical newsletter: I’m older than dirt, and folks my age have time and money to spare. I don’t see it as a scam of any kind to appeal to us through traditional means.

Yes, I write physical checks and send them through the postal mail. I don’t trust entering credit card information online. I read physical newspapers and newsletters. I hardly ever even glance at email, have never used social media, and won’t join any such networks. My hands don’t shake, and I don’t soil myself.

I don’t care who is or isn’t a “real libertarian.” As far as I can tell, it’s whoever is the biggest, loudest, most obnoxious and insistent jerk in any group of self-described libertarians.

They certainly succeed at one thing exceedingly well, which is to dissuade folks who agree with them on many but not all issues from joining them or describing their views by that term, much less sending them even a penny.

  7. WMCT Is exactly correct.

I joined the libertarians twice, 20 years apart, and it’s been nearly 20 years since the second and final time. Both times they eagerly assured me I was one of them and should join up until I did and started calling myself one, at which point they set out to assure me that I was not, never had been, and never will be a libertarian, and should go away and not come back. Both times they drove me away within a year or two.

The first time was to support Ron Paul for their nomination, the second time Bob Barr. Both of whom I supported before and after their libertarian runs when they ran and identified as Republicans.

Both times I was alienated from them by the following midterm conventions. About 15 years ago I stopped trying to figure out who the “true libertarians” are and aren’t. Clearly, not me.

  8. “Many people believe exceptions are more important than principles.”

No, many people have different principles from yours, even if some of them overlap.

  9. “Being against burglars is principle.”

Do you believe people can change? Should past misdeeds disqualify people for life, and what should people who did wrong do with the rest of their lives if or when they change their ways?

  10. I’m going to rejoin the libertarians. I think I’ll fit right in.

Now that they have a physical newsletter I’ll have something to wipe my butt with when I can’t afford toilet paper.

The El Pee news saved my ass during the covid toilet paper shortage, and with the D Minus party looking set to steal more elections, I feel a need coming on, again.

Remember to wipe, and stay off the pipe!

  11. Is it common among Lemon Party members to be too broke to afford toilet paper for their turd potty?

How much of a factor did this play in the decision to restart the paper newsletter?

Will they soon be pushing it on street corners like the homeless news and socialist worker’s?

  12. A lot of them are broke losers. When they have conventions a lot of them have to cried like sardines into vehicles and motel rooms to get to and from and stay there.

Besides not being able to afford a plane or bus ticket or gas, they are usually not allowed on planes, and don’t maintain sufficient sobriety, decorum, or hygiene to travel in a plane or bus, or to get and maintain a drivers license and their own vehicle, or operate one without killing people or going to jail.

While traveling they typically beg and dumpster dive at gas stations along the way.

At the convention hotel, they go to hospitality suites for the complimentary food and drinks, or dine and dash at the hotel and nearby restaurants when not digging through the trash cans.

Besides being useful to them as toilet paper when they have forgotten to steal some from public restrooms, the lemon party politically homeless news is often useful to them to cover themselves with when sleeping on sidewalks and park benches.

  13. Tom, many of them are actually commies pretending to be libertarians for whatever weird reason.

  14. Are the articles going to be written by actual libertarians, or communists that currently infiltrate the board?

  15. I look forward to receiving the newsletter. I have not received it in many years. I hope they mail it to me.

  16. They don’t even have any printers in our part of North Korea. Prescription eyeglasses are also in short supply, and many Juche libertarians such as Kim George Whitfield have a hard time reading there phones.

  17. Usually not well. Many people are very hungry, and snails move slowly, so as you might imagine, they typically don’t make it very far.

  18. When we don’t eat the snails, we eat the newspapers. I look forward to my copy of Workers party News every month, more than once eating the paper has kept me from starving all the way to death.

  19. I look forward to using the democratic workers tax dividends to deliver the socialist liberation party news to Kim Whitfield George and all the other socialist worker’s of the DPRK.

  20. More proof that Trump is a libertarian and that libertarians have taken over the GOP under Trump:

    Part 1

The Republican Party is having national midterm conventions now. Previously, only Libertarians did that, except for commie leftard parties. Not anymore.

Not only that, but at that Republican Party midterm convention, the Libertarian Party becoming ungovernable, anarchy symbol, chicken on a stick and other such logos and mottos were prominently displayed as Silk Road’s Ross Ulbricht, finally at long last freed from prison by Liberator Trump, spoke about how awesome President Trump is for liberty, freedom, and libertarianism.

  21. A porn parody of l.p. Noose would be a retard fetish porn magazine with grimy hairy beaver shots and buck teeth

  22. Part 2:

As you might imagine, the LNC is big mad, claiming copyright infringement.

If you weren’t convinced when Trump spoke at a Libertarian national convention and publicly declared himself to be a libertarian, or when he got a standing ovation at Freedom Fest, certainly you must now acknowledge that Trump is a libertarian.

    He’s the best libertarian.

Nobody has ever been more libertarian than Donald Trump.

A lot of people are saying that.

  23. Did some aging l.p. honchos lose short term memory and wake up thinking it’s the 1970s again?

  24. DO THE COMMIE DONKEYS AND/OR THE FASCIST GOPS HAVE ANY NEWSLETTERS ???

OR JUST HAVE THE PRESS RELEASES OF THEIR MONARCH/OLIGARCH GANG LEADERS TO ENTERTAIN THEIR VOTER GANGS [ ON TOP OF THE COMMIE/FASCIST LAWS / EXEC ORDS / COURT OPS]/ REGS / FORMS ???

  25. Trump TV is here at last!

Finally, a real news tv network for intelligent folks who care about the truth, unlike the low iq morons and bots that consume and regurgitate fake news like USSR YESTERDAY.

    Kudos, Trump does it again!

It should of happened years ago, but, better late than never!
