From what I remember, I was reacting to a comment which posted a story about Sunny Hostin from the View revealing that, as a juror in am infamous murder case in 1991 when she was in her early 20s, she was the lone holdout juror who let off a guy who killed his girlfriend and fed her body to street people.

   I mentioned that I had known the killer, murder victim, and many of the street people that hefed her corpse to that summer, when I was 17 years old between high school and college, and actually tied it in to a minor party unlike most of the comments I see at this site now – the job I knew all these people through was with the Youth International Party (yippies). That was 1989 when they were long past their 1960s heyday.

   I also speculated as to whether I may have also known the woman who now goes by Sunny Hostin back when we were high school and college students at different high schools in Manhattan and the Bronx and/or on breaks from college back in the city when we went to different colleges outside NYC. I’m not sure if I knew her, but I definitely knew a lot of her classmates.

   No, that can’t be why.

   The vast majority of comments that get posted on the vast majority of articles here are off topic. Including most of what got posted yesterday by several different people.

   So that can’t he it, right?

   But if you want to make comments more relevant here, clear and consistent rules and fair and even handed rule enforcement is one of your major themes, right?

   Imagine if there’s no official ballot access laws or regulations at all, but every once in a while the elections administrators get a wild hair where the sun don’t shine and bounce a select few candidates and parties off the ballot for unknown reasons, or if you’re lucky, invent an excuse after the fact.

   No appeals process.

   Does that sound fair to you?

   Or imagine if there’s no court appeals and judges just issue unpublished rulings all the time, and all you can ever know is the result, not the reasoning.

   Or if no attorney arguments were ever public, so you would just have to trust that they logically convinced the judge instead of, just for an example here , buying her a case of Chives Regal or flirting with him or you name it.

   Would that be fair? Would it be a good way to do things if things get done that way with the ballot access laws and regulations and courts and whatnot?

   Or let’s say the rules are clear, but the way they get applied in the real world is random and arbitrary.

   Does that sound good to you?

   What if there’s no public arguments or votes in the legislature when they pass these laws, all you get to see is what they passed and hope for the best as to why or who voted which way or if the vote was correctly tabulated.

   Or what if the elections themselves get conducted that way? You only get to see who won, not who got how many votes, or how they got counted, or if they got counted at all, or if the count was fixed or not, nothing.

   Sounds good?

   If not, how about an open, transparent process with clear posted rules, community input, earnings before deletions occur, and a chance to appeal?

   Would that be modeling the change you want to see in the way elections get run, or is it too much to ask?

8. So what got deleted, and why?

   NotTheBot posted a story about Mrs. Hostin bragging about she was the juror in 1991 who let off this sick psycho killer who murdered his girlfriend and fed her to people back in 1989.

   There were some other nasty details but they are all public information and all real, verifiable, facts, things which actually happened.

   So now we have this TV celebrity bragging how back when she was 22 or 23 she gets this guy off as the lone holdout juror.

   That’s pretty disgusting. It was her right as a juror, but it was almost worse than what he did, if you think about it, in a way.

   And she’s this rich and famous person who is not being cancelled, not getting taken off TV or getting kicked out everywhere she goes, not getting her contracts terminated , not being divorced and socially isolated, not having people refuse to do business with her , not getting divorced or disowned or debanked or anything else that has happened to a lot of people who didn’t do anything nearly as bad .

   She brags about getting this piece of trash off, and there’s zero consequences.

   But of all the stories that get posted here, it’s one of the very few you delete.

   And the thing about Kamala .

   Why?

   Because they are leftists? You say you are a libertarian, not a leftist. So that’s not why, right?

   Frankel’s original deleted comment speculated about whether he had known the woman who now goes by Sunny Hostin.

   So someone looked up easily found public information about her, literally the first few things that pop up – her real name at birth and beck then. Where and when she went to high school, college, law school, her first job after law school, when she got on TV, when, how and why her name changed. And posted that. Public information, easily and readily available to everyone already.

   Frankel and the artist formerly known as Asuncion both grew up in Manhattan and the Bronx during the 1980s.

   She was a Catholic high school girl from the Bronx in Manhattan , which is the missing context of the comments by Krispy Gnome and I love Catholic Schoolgirls.

   Other deleted comments by several people noted the location of that school, how many students it has, and other public information easily found from her public bio and the school’s website.

   What my own deleted comment did was point out how during that time period Frankel rarely went to school, opting to bribe and test his way out instead, and habitually sold various illegal drugs and traded them for sex to , especially, Catholic school girls, because they were his thing or fetish if you want to call it that.

   The sex was not illegal because he was an underage teen himself.

   The drugs were illegal but the statute of limitations long since passed and there’s no proof that would stand up in court here even if it hadn’t.

   Is any of this posted to embarrass him or reveal secrets or libel him?

   No, he had openly and publicly published all these things himself, numerous times. He’s said he’s not proud of his lifestyle and actions back then but has no interest in concealing it or running away from it or denying it or coveting it up. Sweeping under the rug or whatever you want to call it.

   The same goes for when I said he had unprotected sex with hundreds or more of these girls all over Manhattan and the Bronx.

   Again, he’s said this all himself, published many times.

   This was right when Asuncion, later Sunny, was a Catholic high school girl from the Bronx in Manhattan.

   So it’s completely possible he doesn’t even remember whether he had sex with her, or tried to. And definite for sure he did with some girls she knew, including some of her classmates.

   And entirely possible he got some of them pregnant, with zero regards for any consequences, given his unethical and illegal outlook and lifestyle at the time.

   All things he published himself many years later , many times.

   All of this was flow of conversation and already public information published multiple places elsewhere.

   So exactly what parts of it violated exactly what rules here?

   Or what parts were worse than what gets published here every day on just about every article multiple times per day – numerous completely irrelevant propaganda “news” links, and all sorts of things libelling various people, especially President Trump, I’m horrible ways, and implicitly if not explicitly calling for his assassination, because that’s what people often do to real tyrants in the real world – a logical response when other ways to stop or end tyranny are precluded – and as people keep trying to do to President Trump over and over because of the non stop lies all over the place that he’s a tyrant, precisely because he is pushing back against the real tyranny hidden in plain sight that we keep slowly but surely evolving into, more effectively than any US leader in any of our lifetimes?

    Sunny claims to have been the holdout juror that acquitted the man due to insanity.

    But a recently uncovered article from the New York Daily News suggests that Sunny Hostin was not the holdout juror in the Daniel Rakowitz trial.

    She served on the jury in 1991, but the New York Daily News reported that the holdout was an “unemployed man” who wanted a bit of extra cash.

    “One juror won a battle of wills by holding out for an insanity verdict. Another juror accused this panelist, an unemployed man, of wanting to extend his $15-a-day juror’s fee.”

    Juror Valerie Holmes said he was “very determined, very manipulative,” and “didn’t mind how long he stayed here.”

    Sunny Hostin was quoted by the Daily News, however:

    Here’s her statement:

    Said juror Asuncion Cummings, ‘Yes, we believe he did it. I believe he butchered the body and almost committed the perfect crime. He knew what he was doing.’

    That’s in direct contrast to what Sunny claimed on The View, where she said she alone held out for the not guilty by reason of insanity verdict and whittled down the other jurors one by one.

    Did she embellish and change her story as a direct response to the recent Lindsay Clancy trial, so she could seem more empathetic for the audience?

    Is she a woman of a certain age who is starting to forget details from 30 years ago?

    Or did the Daily News get their story entirely wrong?

    I dunno, but it does make me think…
