On September 30, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 1539, which requires political parties that nominate a presidential candidate to attach paperwork, certifying that the nominee is not in violation of the 22nd amendment (the term limits amendment for president and vice-president). The law also applies to declared write-in presidential candidates, and independent presidential candidates. No other state requires such declarations.
That’s it. Last straw. Kalipornia absolutely has to be kicked out of the USA immediately!

One of many constitutional amendments that are overdue for repeal, or in the case of the 13th, 14th, and 15th, overdue recognition that they were never properly adopted to begin with.
The 16th, 17th, and 19th obviously need to go. The 18th and 21st cancel each other out, although perhaps the 21st was also a mistake, it may not need be a federal question.
The 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 26th are all hot garbage.
Perhaps the cleanest path towards restoring anything remotely approaching constitutional government at the federal level would be to simply have a single amendment recognizing that the federal government has been entirely unconstitutional since tyrant Lincoln’s illegal war, rendering all its official acts since then, including all constitutional amendments, entirely null and void,
And/or,
The forced readmission of our States to a corrupt and tyrannical forced federal union pretending to be governed by a constitution it abandoned long before living memory.
They still owe us compensation for that war and subsequent occupation ever since, but aside from that, they can just go away, and take their turd world population replacement with them.
If they can’t let us go, I agree that kicking California out would do the most good of any one state that ought be removed.

We should all be more realistic. It’s a proven fact that the federal union is like those traps where roaches get in but they don’t get out. but for States.
There is, however, a peaceful, indeed Pacific, solution to the left coast blew state problems plaguing all the other states by way of the pernicious role those unfortunate west coast states exert thanks to their participation in the federal congress and electoral college.
The best part is that we don’t even have to get on the ballot, or persuade anyone, much less survive the vote counting fraud that’s rendered elections to be a bad joke.

I honestly don’t think Trump and the GOP are the intended targets of this bill. The CA Democrats are almost certainly going to use this bill to keep the Green Party’s Presidential nominee off the CA ballot (and even off the write-in ballot) in 2028, much like they did to Butch Ware this year via abusing the tax forms requirement, no matter how much the CA Greens try to comply with this law. After all, the Democrat Establishment often spends more time punching down at minor parties rather than punching sideways at their ruling party frenemy, because minor parties have far fewer resources (money, lawyers, media allies, etc) to defend ourselves with than the GOP, and even fewer judges willing to defend our Constitutional right to exist. “Democratic” Party indeed.

Texas requires independent presidential candidates to provide information to indicate their eligibility: age, natural born citizenship; permanent residence including state; length of residence in the United States. It does not currently require an indication of prior presidential service but it could.
Better would be to require all presidential candidates to file. The current May deadline would give political parties plenty of time to decide which if any candidates they choose to endorse.
