New York Might Get a New Ballot-Qualified Party, “Vote Affordable”

Earlier this year, the Republican gubernatorial nominee in New York, Bruce Blakeman, arranged for a petition to qualify himself as the nominee of the “Vote Affordable” Party. Several other Republican candidates for for legislative office completed petitions under the same name for their own races as well.

It is possible Blakeman will receive a vote total on the Vote Affordable line equal to 2% or more of the vote cast for Governor. If he does, that party would become a qualified party.

  1. Speaking of affordability, and since Nor The Bee links are still getting automatically memoryholed here, here is the article:

Please allow Vox to explain “why abortion belongs in Democrats’ affordability message”

    Cardinal Pritchard

Vox knows what Democrats need to run on:

    KILLING BABIES!

    @ vox

The decision to carry and raise a child can shape every part of a person’s financial life. @JessicaValenti joins Vox’s @AsteadWH to explain why abortion belongs in Democrats’ affordability message and what the party misses when it treats reproductive rights as a social issue.

Vox thinks the real reason people care about killing babies is inflation?

Why not infanticide by this logic?

They have looked at the last several election cycles, noticed that hammering voters over what they call “reproductive rights” didn’t deliver the blue wave they expected, and concluded that the problem was messaging — not the killing of the babies!

These folks at Vox really are trying to argue that putting abortion into the “affordability” conversation is what they’ve been missing this whole time.

Don’t have enough money to pay for rising prices? Kill your baby!

    Yeah, that’ll work!

“What do you economic policies look like?”

“Helping kill your children so you can save money on diapers”

According to the clip, Democrats in 2024 supposedly over-indexed on “social and cultural issues,” and they need to pivot to economics in America’s Golden Age. Unfortunately, these progressives over at Vox think it’s cool to just move killing babies right on over from “social and cultural issues” to economic issues.

Because, as they say at Vox apparently, nobody should be “forced into pregnancy.”

I hope the Democrats stick to this messaging.

We could really use it in the midterms!

  2. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. Demoncrats should make full taxpayer funded reproductive rights up to the 19th trimester, according to Sharia law, a cornerstone of our 2028 platform.

Copying communist China’s former one baby per family policy, you must know we’ll get AOC selected, oops, I mean elected, POTUS. As she’s sworn in on J20, 2029, with strong demonic rodent majorities in both houses of congress, we will nuke the filibuster, expand and pack the courts, add new Dummycratic States, pay for the immediate and totally affordable importation of tens or maybe hundreds of millions of penniless turd world immigrants and give them immediate voting rights, lower the voting age to six, introduce affirmative action mandated partnering for dating and marriage, confiscate all children at birth for government education, take all your weapons including plasticware and whiffleball bats, and lots of other great stuff like that.

Believe me, it’s going to be a lot of fun.

And it’s not like you’re going to do anything at all to stop it, is it?
