The Nevada Libertarian Party polled enough votes for all four of its Clark County candidates for executive office to remain qualified. It needed to poll at least 10,810 votes for any nominee. For Clark County Recorder, it polled 19,144; for County Treasurer 16,655; for County Assessor, 17,742; for County Clerk, 13,849. The Nevada vote test is unusual. In most states, the vote test only applies to statewide offices, but in Nevada, it applies to any candidate at all.
The party only ran one nominee for statewide office (Secretary of State) and he did not poll quite enough votes, but that is of no consequence because the Clark County candidates did so well.
