For the first time since 1983, the Libertarian Party national convention has delegations from 49 states and the District of Columbia. The one state without any delegates is North Dakota.
Also, in a very unusual move, Michael Jingozian immediately followed his nomination speech by getting back up and nominating Mike Gravel.
Although I knew almost nothing about Mr. Jingozian, knowing, in fact, only his name, after seeing him speak and watching his nomination of Senator Gravel, I am now a fan.
I do hope he sticks with the LP and helps it to grow, which it will with the likes of Michael Jingozian working for it.
He is a very impressive man.
