Jose Nunez-Melo, who was elected to the Canadian Parliament at the last national election in 2011, has left the New Democratic Party and joined the Green Party. See this story. He represents a district in Quebec. The Green Party now has three members in the House.
Technically, this is not true. Parliament has dissolved for the coming election on October 19, which means there are no MPs. The CBC carefully calls him a former NDP MP.
