The U.S. District Court that is handling Libertarian Party of Illinois v Illinois State Board of Elections said on November 2 that the decision will be out shortly. The Court had previously said it would be out on October 8, then October 30, then November 2.
Wow! What a shock! SHOCK, I say.
Now it’s “shortly”, as in probably never if they can help it. While I know some conservatives don’t like the idea of international election monitoring agencies coming over here, stuff like this makes an excellent case for allowing such organizations to come here and bring some political pressure to bear against our corrupt government. After all, the Democratic and Republican Party Establishment still does care about their image abroad to some extent.
