Florida Doesn’t Appeal Decision That Struck Down Ban on Non-Partisan Candidates Mentioning Their Party

The Florida Secretary of State decided not to appeal the U.S. District Court decision in Hetherington v Madden, in which the court struck down the Florida law that makes it a crime for a candidate for non-partisan office to mention his or her political party.
