New Mexico Bill to Criminalize False Certifications of Presidential Electors Advances

On February 2, the New Mexico House Judiciary Committee passed HB 19. It makes it a felony for anyone to send the National Archives a certification that a slate of particular presidential electors have been elected, if in fact those candidates have not been elected. In the 2020 election, there were several states in which the Republican candidates for presidential elector sent such certifications, even though the official election returns showed they had been defeated.

The bill is sponsored by Representative Gail Chasey (D-Albuquerque), the Majority Floor Leader.

  1. It’s actually not retarded. It’s acting retarded on purpose, in order to create a time sink for people who could actually find better uses for their time and lower their credibility because they interact with it.

  2. It’s other purpose is to be the center of attention with its repetitive nonsense and actively disrupt and prevent any useful conversations here.

  3. WHAT IS USEFUL FOR BAN TROLL MORONS —
