This Santa Fe New Mexico news story starts by describing how the Libertarian Party has no nominees on the ballot for federal or state office this year.  Then it morphs into a story about how the severe ballot access laws have thwarted the Forward Party, and also kept independent gubernatorial candidate Ken Miyagashima off the ballot.

The Forward Party has a federal lawsuit against some of the restrictive laws.  New Mexico Forward Party v Toulouse Oliver, 1:26cv-2286.  The party’s brief will probably be filed on Monday, July 27.
