Wisconsin Libertarian Party and Wisconsin Constitution Party Will Lose Qualified Status Because They Have No Statewide Nominees This Year

The Wisconsin Libertarian Party, a qualified party, has no statewide nominees this year. Therefore, as of November 2026, it will cease to be a qualified party. Parties remain qualified in Wisconsin by polling 1% for any statewide office in midterm years. In 2022 the party retained its ballot position by polling 2.07% For Secretary of State.

Also, the Wisconsin Constitution Party will also lose its qualified status for the same reason. In 2022 the Constitution Party retained its qualified status by polling 2.38% for Treasurer.
