Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) almost always runs its members in Democratic primaries. However, this year, in Rhode Island, it is running one of its members as an independent. She is Brittany Kubicek. According to the Secretary of State’s website, her ballot label is “Independent – Socialist.” She is on the November ballot for State House, 5th district.
