On November 26, the Texas Republican Party filed this reply brief in Hunt v State of Texas, n.d., 2:25cv-200. This is the lawsuit in which the Texas Republican Party seeks a court order that the party has a right to a closed primary. Texas has always had open primaries, and the voter registration form does not ask applicants to choose a party.
The America First Party is a qualified party in Florida. It qualified on May 15, 2025. Its registration is growing rapidly. On July 21, 2025, it had 1,150 registrants. But the November 12, 2025 tally shows 7,881 registrants.
Here is the party’s website. It does have a button near the top of the page, encouraging people to register with the party. So far, it hasn’t had any nominees for any partisan office.
The three-member Board of Elections of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, will have two Democrats and one independent, starting new year. See this story. The independent, Alex Rose, beat a Republican at the November 4, 2025 election. Rose’s ballot label was “Labor.”
On November 27, the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, vetoed a bill to let all voters vote by postal mail. See this story. Current law only allows elderly, hospitalized or disabled voters to vote by mail.
