Green Party Virtually Certain to Elect a Connecticut Town Official

Connecticut towns elect two Registrars of Voters. In New Canaan, only one candidate is on the ballot for that office, a Democrat. The only declared write-in for that office is a Green Party registrant, John Amarilios. Therefore, assuming Amarilios receives at least one write-in, he will be elected. See this story. After the election is over, the Republican Party will be allowed to appoint someone, so New Canaan will have three registrars.
