On October 29, the U.S. Supreme Court denied Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s request to withdraw from the Michigan ballot. There is no opinion. The vote was 8-1. Justice Neil Gorsuch dissented. Also on October 29, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously denied Kennedy’s similar request to remove himself from the Wisconsin ballot. 24A399.
The Sixth Circuit has requested that the Ohio Secretary of State file a response by 5 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, in Stein v LaRose, 24-3923. This is the lawsuit over whether votes for Jill Stein (who is on the ballot) should be counted. Stein’s Reply brief is due October 30.
