Sarah Stogner is a Texas attorney who ran for Railroad Commission in 2022. She placed second in the Republican primary, forcing a primary run-off. In 2024 she hopes to be the Forward Party nominee for that office.

The New York Times has this September 23 article about Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and the hints that he could conceivably run for president in the general election. Among the many ideas described in the article is the concept that he might seek the Libertarian Party nomination. He says he met with National Libertarian Chair Angela McArdle in July.
On September 6, John Anthony Castro filed a federal lawsuit to keep former President Donald Trump off the Oklahoma Republican presidential primary ballot. Trump v Ziriax, w.d., 5:23cv-781. “Here is the Complaint. The case is assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Jodi W. Dishman, a Trump appointee.
Castro lives in Texas and is seeking the Republican presidential nomination. He hopes to avoid standing problems, given that he is a candidate, not just a voter. He has similar lawsuits pending in some other states. His Oklahoma Complaint contains a factual error. He says Oklahoma permits write-in votes, but it does not.
On September 22, proponents of a North Dakota initiative filed a federal lawsuit against the state’s ban on out-of-state circulators for initiative petitions. Hendrix v Howe, 1:23cv-185.

On September 22, New Hampshire Secretary of State said the filing period for presidential primary candidates is October 11 through October 27. However, the state still hasn’t set the date of the presidential primaries.
