Rob Sherman Death in Plane Crash Confirmed

Forensic tests have confirmed that Illinois Green Party activist Rob Sherman died while piloting his own plane. Until the tests were held, it was known that someone piloting Sherman’s plane had died, but there had been no certainty that Sherman himself was the pilot. See this story. He was one of the two U.S. House candidates for the party in last month’s election.

Many Illinois Greens did not approve of some of his political activities. He was responsible for removing the Constitution Party, and the Socialist Party, from the Illinois ballot petition in both 2012 and 2016.

  1. Is this suppose to be a conspiracy. So the Green party had him killed. The Nation Magazine should look into this .

  2. Richard probably put that last bit in for context so people know who Rob was; he knows that the Green Party is probably the last group of people to do something like that (Nonviolence is one of our party’s most cherished and Key values).

Frankly I am saddened that we lost a very active member of the party, despite our disagreements. The ILGP put out a statement about his death as well: http://www.ilgp.org/rob_sherman

  3. “(Nonviolence is one of our party’s most cherished and Key values).”

Actual “Nonviolence” is not part of the “10 Key Values” It is one of the 4 Pillars which is suppose govern all Greens Internationally.

So that is why the Greens endorsed the US War of Aggression against Serbia in 1999. German Green Party member Joshka Fischer rose to power at the turn of the Century became the German Foreign Minister that vote for and promoted the second Iraq invasion in 2003. You guys sure have a straaaaange way of “cherishing” nonviolence.

  4. My comments was a joke.Maybe Lyndon Larouche supports had him killed.Did st Peter welcome him to heaven.
